A long time ago, I had resolved that when I had my own flat, I would name the furniture.
For the last 16 months, I have had my own flat – or, to be more accurate, a shared flat, my own flat and a shared house, in that order – but I haven’t put my plan into action.
I could start with the windowsill, which I am rather fond of.
Will the Sill sounds somewhat uninspiring; considering the windowsill is my little corner of Japan, maybe I should call it Yūdai the Madodai.

What are those bottles?
And I'm so glad you've finally implemented that plan. :D I lost faith in growing up when you said the idea didn't seem appealing any more.
please name the cat mafatlal.
i like how bright you are. and i only mean it in the aesthetic sense.
Why does this blog have so many anonymous comments?
vinegar?
that was me being anonymous by accident, not design... this is me being anonymous by design. (chuckles)
you could call the windowsill Shades instead of Will the Sill. or Pull the Blinds.
Yow, multilingual is the way to go. Tahole in addition to Yuudai the Madodai, Claire the Chair and Fred the Bed, you could also christen your doormat Taposh the Paposh (I remember Sujaan mentioning him in context of your IMHO post :D).
Taposh the Paposh FTW! :D
But but but, the syllables dont match. Stevie the TV worked so well, as well as Clare the chair, because they have the same no. of syllables! Right?
@Raktima: Umeshu bottles (empty).
@rtf: Why Mafatlal?
@Shrabasti: Haha that was a good one. Thanks for reminding me!
@Sowmya: Japanese has moras, and Yuudai and madodai have the same number of moras. I think about these things, you see. :)
Hey Sroyon! This is Charice, i couldn't find your email, so i'm leaving this comment! Just wanna say a big thank you! I really appreciate what you did with the header :'-) I hope you enjoyed TOF! (Srsly that book is so underrated, more people should own a copy haha!) Anyway, i saw your readers commenting on your header linking to a private blog, so sorry! I've privated charicekt.blogspot. for school reasons, and have moved to another platform but i'll put it up again when it's done. However, i'll still be blogging on heykatey.blogspot! Once again, thank you! :-)
Hey, Charice. Awesome work with the bananas!
@Charice: Hey thanks! I was worried you may not like it. :)
