London, 8:20 pm

Working late is seldom fun, but I am sometimes thankful for the nice view from my window.

Or to paraphrase an earlier post: he doesn’t have a very exciting life, but he does have an office with a view.

Oh god. I don't like this view. It's so enormous and intimidating. Makes me think of Kolkata and feel lonely and want to get back.

As in, it would if I were in your office.

I wonder if a lot of other people are also working late or if a lot of offices just leave their lights on.

@Raktima: Hm, then I very much doubt if you would like Tokyo.

@Tommy: Those are mostly banks, so it's likely that they are working late too. Our building has systems whereby lights are automatically switched off if the sensors detect no movement in the vicinity for 15 minutes, and I assume other buildings have similar systems in place.

Beautiful :). The sheer vastness *is* a little intimidating though. Does it not make you feel tiny and insignificant?

And "he doesn't have a very exciting life." *coughcough*. :P

Motherduck, what a view. Yeah, six months in Japan, now London, what a terrible boring life. Lets exchange.

@Takai: You know how Zaphod Beeblebrox survived the Total Perspective Vortex unscathed? :)

@Spin: You can have an exciting life in Chuchura if you get off at 4 pm.
