Word of Advice

When going out for a spot of exploration in an unfamiliar city, please try to ensure:
a) that you keep track of where your meanderings are taking you; or
b) that you remember the address, or the locality, or at least the frikkin name of the hotel where you are staying; or
c) that you know the address of the office of the company which booked you into the hotel.
If you fail to follow (a), (b) or (c), at least ensure that you are carrying your cell phone.

I’m at an internet cafe somewhere in Bhubaneswar and I can’t find my way back :(

Most depressing. My heart goes out to you, Sire. But so long as you can get hold of a cybercafe to update your blog, most of your readers will be unperturbed. :D
Addressing the problem you addressed, i feel that its not a problem. In fact i have a great liking for getting lost. Provided its not life threatening. Of course.

Achha, Sroyonda, I am going to stop believing your blog if you go on at this rate. So many things cannot happen to you. I will not HAVE them happening to you. And, yes, I am fixing net and backtracking and blogging again. :-D
@Devpriyo:I KNOW you like getting lost. And it makes me MAD. Next time you go wandering around the Beleghata lake, ami dhakka diye feley debo!! Faltu romanticising about most obnoxious things.

but why have payphones gone out of fashion as things-you-use-in-times-of-need? this makes me a little sad, i really like the idea of phone booths.

Walk through Bhubneshwar. Its not that big a town. You'll find whatever your'e looking for in 10 hours max if you have a logical route.

a friendly copy of yellow pages can help too.

and yes bhubaneshwar isn't that big a town. im sure losing your way in Bhubaneshwar is not so bad or even fun; as say compared to finding yourself lost in New York.

cheers.
